How Do I Send a Video?
Sending a Video by Recording
- Start a new chat
- Tap on the camera icon at the bottom left of the screen
- Tap on “Take Photo/Video”
- Press and Hold the white circle button to record a video
- Release to stop the recording
- Tap on the icon with a tick to confirm
- A pop up with the file size will be shown
- Tap on “OK” to close the pop up
Sending a Video from the Photo Gallery
- Start a new chat
- Tap on the camera icon at the bottom left of the screen
- Tap on “Choose existing”
- Select Video
- Tap on “Preview” on the top right of the screen
- Tap on “Add” to confirm the video you wish to send
- Type any comments on the white chatbox
- Tap “Send”
- Verify the details on New Chat Summary
- Tap “Send”
How do I receive a video?
- Tap on the conversation thread that contains the video
- Tap the play icon to view the video
- Your video will expire within 7 days. Therefore please save the videos that you wish to keep
How do I save a video?
- Tap on the conversation thread that contains the video
- Tap the play icon to view the video
- Tap on the icon indicated with 3 dots on the top right of the screen
- Tap on “Save to Photo Album”
What is the maximum time length allowed for capturing a Video?
Android
- The maximum time length to capture a video on Android is 30 seconds
Iphone
- The maximum time length to capture a video on Iphone is 120 seconds
What is the maximum video file size allowed?
- We allow selection of videos that are less than 2 minutes in length. The video will automatically be compressed once it Is selected from the gallery. Most videos will be under a file size of 15mb after compression.
How long is a Video file in a message stored before it expires?
- The video file in a message is kept on our systems for 7 days. After which, the video will expire and will no longer be available for playback.
Why can’t I send and receive videos with my Personal Chats?
- Sending and receiving videos in a message is available for Enterprise Chats (ie. Messaging with another user in your Organisation's Directory), but not available when performing Personal Chats (ie. Messaging with your Personal Contacts).
